The Role: Power BI Contractor

We are seeking a skilled Power BI contractor with a strong ethical compass to join our team. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining performance management dashboards, integrating data from various sources into a centralized system, and providing valuable insights to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop interactive Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Craft complex DAX formulas for calculated columns, measures, and custom tables within Power BI.
  • Build scalable data models that ensure data integrity and consistency.
  • Create visually appealing and user-friendly Power BI visualizations that effectively communicate insights.
  • Guarantee the accuracy and reliability of all performance data through rigorous quality control measures.
  • Adhere to strict data governance policies and regulations to maintain high data security standards.
  • Leverage Power Automate to automate workflows, streamline repetitive tasks, and integrate diverse data sources.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different departments to understand their reporting needs and deliver tailored BI solutions.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ethical practices and integrity in all aspects of your work.
  • Provide guidance and support to the MI and resource planning team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in Power BI development and performance management reporting.
  • Advanced SQL query writing skills for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Solid understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Power Automate and other automation tools to streamline workflows.
  • Ability to develop complex DAX formulas for advanced data analysis and modeling.
  • Experience in creating Power BI data models, visualizations, and custom visuals.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
