Job Title: Clinical Duty Manager - Integrated Clinical Hub

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Duty Manager to join our team at the Integrated Clinical Hub. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Clinicians working within the Clinical Hub to provide excellent emergency care to the patients of Scotland.

About the Role:

This is a development role within the ICH for a National Clinical Duty Manager (CDM). Primarily, you will provide support to the Regional CDMs by coordinating and facilitating various work streams such as:

  • Recruitment, onboarding, and training for Clinical Advisors
  • Working with Divisional teams to develop alternative duty opportunities within the ICH
  • Liaising with the GP Lead to support the SAS GP Advisors within the ICH
  • Absence management, including GRS and trackers reviews, Datix and SEAR reviews
  • Coordinating projects and data reporting to evidence change
  • Improving communications within the CDM team, wider Integrated Clinical Hub, and external stakeholders
About You:

We are looking for a candidate with demonstrable post-registration experience, preferably in an ambulance service, acute, or primary care setting. Previous experience in first-line management is essential, as is the ability to evidence leadership development. You should possess excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, organisational, and analytical skills, along with the ability to effectively manage and prioritise workloads.

You should ideally have previous experience of stakeholder engagement, project management, and the ability to evidence any change through data analysis and reporting. You must be committed to improving quality and standards of care, procedures, technology, and support cultural change. You must also be IT literate and possess a driving licence, as travel between sites, including remote hubs, is essential.
