Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrical and Mechanical Shift Engineer to join our operations team. As a critical member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining critical facilities infrastructure, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our data centers. You will perform site inspections, monitor building and data center alarms, and ensure preventative maintenance on site infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Perform site inspections and monitor building and data center alarms
- Ensure preventative maintenance on site infrastructure
- Maintain repairs and run corrective maintenance on equipment
- Prepare and carry out planned maintenance
- Complete site logs and data gathering for permits
- Assist senior staff with responding to on-site incidents
- Participate in ongoing infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- ONC/BTEC/NVQ or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- Previous data center/critical environment experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of critical infrastructure
- Self-motivated and flexible
