**Eligibility Requirements:** To be considered for this position, candidates must hold registration with the HCPC as a Speech and Language Therapist.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Contribute significantly to the development and execution of a research-informed Speech and Language Therapy service that caters to a varied clientele.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, leveraging your skills to evaluate, recommend, and implement strategies that foster effective communication systems; this role necessitates regular engagement with service users.
  • Deliver training, promote best practices, and maintain a supportive communication environment.

**Preferred Skills and Experience:**

  • Experience in Learning Disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorders and Mental Health Conditions.
  • Knowledge of Positive Behavior Support with an emphasis on person-centered approaches.
  • Awareness of sensory needs and their influence on behavior and self-regulation.
  • Dysphagia training (desirable, training will be provided).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A strong sense of motivation and enthusiasm.

**Compensation and Benefits:**

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from £36,807 to £44,322 annually. This role is a permanent full-time position, requiring 40 hours of work per week. In recognition of your commitment, the following benefits are offered:
