Candidate Profile:

  • Proficient in project and contract management.

  • Experienced in financial management, particularly in budget oversight.
  • Able to handle a varied workload while meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement comprehensive project and contract management strategies within substantial budgets and defined quality standards.
  • Manage project and contract risks, including maintaining risk registers, cost tracking, and documentation, while executing the risk management plan effectively.
  • Prepare and deliver reports to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring accurate project status updates to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with local authorities, community organizations, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to support project objectives.
  • Oversee procurement processes related to new build consultancy and contracts, adhering to the Council's policies.
  • Conduct financial and design viability assessments, optimizing access to funding and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements while maintaining budgetary constraints.
