Position Overview:
Our client, a prominent UK Design Consultancy, specializes in providing comprehensive engineering solutions within the Built Environment.

With a diverse clientele and an extensive portfolio, they engage in projects spanning various sectors including industrial, pharmaceutical, residential, commercial, educational, defense, and domestic.

The Hull structures team is currently seeking a Senior Associate or Associate Director to enhance their dynamic office, contributing to projects across the region and beyond.


Key Responsibilities:
As a proactive leader, you will guide a team of innovative and committed engineers through a range of stimulating projects.

Your role will involve delivering exceptional technical and managerial support to the Structures team.

This will be accomplished through:

  • Outstanding technical leadership and mentorship for team members.
  • A determined focus on project delivery and commercial success.
  • Maintaining and elevating the highest standards of technical quality.

Additional responsibilities include collaborating with clients and fellow engineers to manage a variety of projects effectively.

You will play a crucial role in shaping the building design aspirations, ensuring functionality and architectural integrity throughout the design process.


Client Engagement:
You will exemplify excellent client care and consultancy practices, guiding your team of Engineers and Graduates to uphold these standards.

Moreover, you will be accountable for the financial performance of your projects, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality designs.

As the Project Leader and Project Director for designated projects, you will take charge of fostering enduring and productive client relationships across the region.

Your involvement will also include overseeing high-level project technical and quality reviews of specifications, reports, and drawings produced by the team.

Additionally, you will manage relationships with both internal and external clients, engineers, and other stakeholders, leveraging opportunities to secure further work and win new commissions while sharing knowledge within the structural engineering team and beyond.


Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • Significant experience in leading multi-disciplinary projects and teams to deliver large-scale commissions across various sectors.
  • A Master's or PhD degree in a relevant discipline.
