About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled, experienced and motivated Structural Design Engineer to join our dynamic team at The Solution Group Ltd. You will be responsible for the structural design of a variety of engineering projects, collaborating closely with the sales and estimating teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop structural designs for diverse engineering projects, primarily focused on steel and aluminium structures.
  • Provide structural calculations to ensure designs meet project requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with sales and estimating teams to ensure project designs align with client expectations.
  • Work closely with the design team to enable the production of fabrication and erection drawings.
  • Utilize Tekla Structural Designer to create and refine structural designs.
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide technical support as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent.

  • Proficiency in Tekla Structural Designer software.
  • Strong understanding of relevant structural codes and standards.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
