Civil and Structural Design Professional

Jackson Hogg is supporting a leading engineering consultancy in the appointment of a Civil and Structural Design Professional based in Hull. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in producing suitable design solutions and documentation for a range of construction projects, ensuring compliance to project requirements and codes of practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop structural steelwork designs and analysis to support process equipment and plant, adhering to relevant codes and regulations.
  2. Ensure structural designs are delivered in line with the project scope, schedule, and budget.
  3. Liaise with internal and external civil and/or structural designers as required.
  4. Assist in the production of scope of works with clearly defined deliverables.
  5. Provide client-facing support when required.
  6. Document updates to designs and ensure any changes are recorded in accordance with company procedure.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering or Higher HND/Higher BTEC qualification.
  2. Relevant design engineering experience in the delivery of minor modifications.
