Job Title: Academic Planning Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Academic Planning Manager to join our team at Halfords. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business cases for strategic opportunities, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on growth initiatives.
  • Critically evaluate strategic ideas and proposals, providing expert analysis and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Design and implement solutions that enable scale and quick market entry, identifying synergies and cross-over opportunities with other initiatives.
  • Present strategic opportunities and business cases to executive and senior stakeholders, communicating complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with internal initiatives and challenges, ensuring alignment with a holistic business plan.

Requirements:

  • Proven background in strategic design and commercial business case development.
  • Ability to cut through complexity and get to the heart of the matter, with minimal input and coaching.
  • Confident preparation of visually engaging content for executive and senior stakeholders.
  • A creative and innovative mind, with a strategic thinker and futuristic approach.
