Our client is expanding and seeks exceptional scientific professionals to enhance their dynamic NGS platform development team.
This position is ideal for a seasoned molecular researcher eager to contribute to an innovative organization with a robust technological foundation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct laboratory-based NGS technology innovation, including the development of molecular biology and biochemistry components and their integration into cartridge-based workflows.
- Design and implement laboratory experiments efficiently, adhering to GLP standards with minimal oversight.
- Maintain necessary documentation in compliance with the company's quality management system and ISO 13485 regulations.
- Advance technical and scientific knowledge by exploring new methodologies and approaches, including literature reviews and participation in relevant conferences.
- Prepare scientific reports and present findings from your work and that of your colleagues in team meetings.
Qualifications:
To qualify for the Senior Molecular Research Scientist role, candidates should possess:
- A BSc, MSc, or PhD in a relevant life science field such as Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or equivalent professional experience.
- Expertise in Molecular Biology and/or Biochemistry techniques, including DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, ddPCR, isothermal amplification, and gel electrophoresis.
- Demonstrated experience in designing, troubleshooting, executing, and analyzing experiments to produce high-quality results.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to foster relationships within multidisciplinary project teams.
- Excellent organizational and technical writing skills to facilitate project completion and convey scientific information effectively.
