Housing Management Officer

Mansfield District Council is seeking a skilled and dedicated Housing Management Officer to join our Tenancy Services team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a patch of properties within the district, supporting tenants to sustain their tenancies, and addressing neighbourhood management issues.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of properties to ensure they are well-maintained and meet the needs of tenants
  • Providing excellent customer service to tenants, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Working with tenants to identify and address issues that may be affecting their tenancies, such as anti-social behaviour or breaches of tenancy
  • Conducting property and block inspections to ensure compliance with council policies and regulations
  • Collaborating with other teams within the council to achieve shared goals and objectives

We are looking for a motivated and organized individual with experience of working within social housing and dealing with tenants. The successful candidate will be able to work under pressure in a reactive role, provide outstanding customer service, and demonstrate a creative approach to service delivery.
