Residential Childcare Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Worker to join our team at Randstad Care. As a key member of our respite service, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with complex learning and physical disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 24-hour care and support to vulnerable young people in a residential setting
- Administer medication and provide personal care to children
- Promote a positive parenting role model and maintain professional boundaries
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure the well-being and safety of children
- Ensure compliance with National Care Standards and maintain accurate records
- 6 months of prior experience in a residential setting with young people aged below 16 years
- Flexibility in the roles undertaken and ability to work varied shifts
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Registration under the PVG scheme and full driving license
- Obtained or working towards SVQ level 3 and SVQ level 4 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent
