Job Title: Purchase Ledger Clerk

You will be responsible for processing high-volume supplier invoices, ensuring accurate matching with purchase orders and goods received notes, as well as other core duties:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handling supplier queries and resolving discrepancies
  • Scanning and filing invoices, maintaining accurate records
  • Verifying invoices against purchase orders and resolving price queries and quantity discrepancies with the supply chain team and warehouse teams
  • Organizing invoices for authorization and collaborating with staff to ensure timely approval
  • Maintaining existing supplier account details and ensuring accuracy
  • Conducting monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Responding to email and telephone queries, providing excellent customer service
  • Processing staff expense claims for the Group
  • Experience working in an AP team and knowledge of Microsoft Outlook & Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with a wide range of suppliers
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivate, and maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Alignment with the organization's needs, priorities, and goals
  • Maintaining accurate and timely records, working to deadlines as required
  • Flexible approach to daily tasks and ad-hoc duties
  • Confidently handling performance-related issues
