Job Title: Purchase Ledger Clerk

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process high-volume supplier invoices, ensuring accurate matching with purchase orders and goods received notes.
  • Deal with supplier queries, scanning and filing invoices, and checking invoices against purchase orders.
  • Organize invoices for authorization and liaise with staff to ensure timely approval.
  • Maintain existing supplier account details and undertake monthly reconciliation of supplier statements.
  • Handle email and telephone queries, staff expense claims, and experience working in an AP team.
  • Utilize Microsoft Outlook and Excel, with good communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with suppliers.
  • Work independently, with attention to detail and accuracy, and align behavior with the organization's needs and goals.
  • Adhere to deadlines and maintain accurate records, with a flexible approach to daily tasks and ad-hoc duties.
  • Confidently handle performance-related issues and demonstrate a commitment to customer excellence.
