Job Summary:

Holt Engineering is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out pre-planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical assets, including mould and power presses, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and ancillary equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out pre-planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical assets
  • Providing engineering solutions when immediate spares are not available
  • Working in line with maintenance technicians and best practices, complying with Health and Safety regulations
  • Responding to reactive maintenance call-outs
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance and inspection logs
  • Assisting in outage planning, scheduling, and coordination

Requirements:

  • Time served apprenticeship in a mechanical or electrical engineering field
  • Significant experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC-controlled plant, and associated equipment
  • Willingness to undertake additional specific plant training
