Job Summary:

The Advocate Group is seeking a dynamic and motivated Trade Development Manager to join their regional Sales team covering the Chester, Wirral and North Wales region. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for building relationships with customers within the Convenience Retail channel and executing direct market activation execution on the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive sales growth and increase market share.
  • Execute direct market activation execution on the market, including promotional activities and point-of-sale material distribution.
  • Train and coach distribution partner staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively promote and sell our products.
  • Manage and distribute stock lines to outlets to meet the required mix.
  • Support the appointed distributor with promotional activity as agreed.
  • Communicate good quality market information to distributors and ensure timely activity reporting.
  • Record and report all activities in line with Company policy.

Your Profile:

  • You are a flexible, enthusiastic, and hardworking individual with a commitment to a career in sales.
  • You are self-starting, entrepreneurial, and highly adaptable in a rapidly changing marketplace.
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to persuade and win over distributor partners, internal/external customers, and industry contacts.
  • You are able to work comfortably in a team, but also have the drive to set your own objectives and ensure a steady stream of business development.
  • You are a rapid learner and a creative solver of problems.
  • You hold a valid driver's license.
