Job Summary:

Ocean Safety is seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales and Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Southampton. As a Sales and Marketing Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the Sales Support and Marketing team in achieving our commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our international customer base, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Sales Order Processing: Utilize our central computer system to create and process sales orders in response to customer enquiries.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop an in-depth knowledge of our products and market segments to help meet customer needs and make recommendations.
  • Data Management: Input and interpret data to support business decision-making.
  • Marketing and Sales Strategies: Assist in the implementation of our marketing and sales strategies to drive business growth.
  • Shop and POS Management: Manage the shop and POS display in our stockist network.
  • Price Management: Ensure key accounts are notified and updated on price changes.
  • Service and Hire Support: Provide support for service and hire enquiries.
  • Technical Product Support: Provide technical product support when possible, referring to manager when necessary.
  • Price Enquiries: Answer price enquiries and respond to quote requests in a timely manner.
  • Quote Management: Chase quotes regularly to keep prices competitive and win all possible business.
  • Administrative Support: Cover reception area when required and assist with logistical arrangements for exhibitions and events.

Requirements:

  • Maturity and Adaptability: Demonstrate a mature approach and ability to work in a fast-paced environment where timely product delivery is critical.
  • Teamwork: Be a good team player who can cover for other members of staff during periods of leave.
  • Deadlines and Targets: Meet deadlines and targets to support business objectives.
