Energy Trading Advisory Consultants and Managers - Leading Consultancy Firm

A prominent consultancy firm is seeking to recruit multiple Energy Trading and Commodity Trading professionals, including Consultants, Senior Consultants, and Managers, to enhance their UK Commodity Trading Advisory Practice.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT & CULTURE

These positions are based in the UK, requiring candidates to reside and fulfill tax obligations within the country. The roles offer a hybrid working model, allowing flexibility in work arrangements:

  • Attendance at the Central London headquarters 1-2 days per week.
  • 3-4 days of remote work, with the option to work from various office locations if preferred.
  • Minimal client site visits, typically limited to one day per week.

ADVISORY FOCUS

As part of the commodity trading advisory team, these roles are strictly advisory in nature, focusing on:

  • Back Office, Middle Office, and Front Office advisory services.
  • Consulting on trading operations, regulatory compliance, risk management, and the establishment of new trading desks.
  • Engagement with major players in the Oil & Gas sector, Utilities, and Commodity Trading Houses, addressing various trading-related challenges.

Clients primarily operate in sectors such as Oil, Natural Gas, LNG, Power, and Metals Trading, with additional involvement in Emissions, Carbon, and Agricultural Commodities.
