Job Title: Advanced Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Lorn & Islands Rural General Hospital in Oban, Scotland.

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified and practicing Advanced Nurse Practitioner with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Consideration will be given to individuals who are currently in the process of completing their training and will commence at a Band 6 level until fully qualified.

This is a rotational post working 37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will be based at Lorn & Islands Rural General Hospital, a modern and well-equipped hospital situated in Oban, which offers a range of leisure activities, good schools, and a strong sense of community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the development of the nursing team

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration
  • Postgraduate qualification in Advanced Nursing Practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
