Neurosurgery Ward Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Neurosurgery Ward Manager to join our team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety on Ward 43.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care and services.
- Develop and implement effective clinical governance strategies to ensure patient safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
- Manage and maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide education and training to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient care and services.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a neurosurgery setting.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of clinical governance principles and practices, with the ability to apply them in a healthcare setting.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
