About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Neurosurgeon to join our team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain additional experience and surgical skills in skull base and vascular neurosurgery.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide a comprehensive Neurosurgery service to patients in the Coventry and Warwickshire area.
  • Ensure that all appropriate waiting lists and waiting times are adhered to.
  • Work alongside existing Neurovascular and Skull base neurosurgeons to obtain experience and skills in a range of procedures.
  • Attend weekly Neurovascular/Skull base MDT & Clinics with close liaison with Clinical Nurse Specialists.
Main Aims and Objectives
  • To provide an effective and efficient Neurosurgery service.
  • To maintain the principles of risk management and clinical governance.
  • To support the skull base/vascular service increase the outpatient and inpatient capacity.
