About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to join our team at Binnies, a leading provider of integrated environmental, engineering, and technical services. As a key member of our electrical engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and direction to our discipline engineers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality electrical designs and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical direction and guidance to electrical engineers, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and codes of practice.
  • Lead the design and delivery of electrical systems and solutions, ensuring they meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, designers, and contractors, to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the development of electrical engineering standards, procedures, and best practices, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Participate in business development activities, identifying new opportunities and developing proposals to secure new business.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements, ensuring our team remains at the forefront of electrical engineering expertise.

Requirements

  • Chartered Electrical Engineer or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in electrical engineering, with a strong background in design, delivery, and project management.
  • Excellent technical knowledge and skills, with the ability to lead and mentor junior engineers.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to contribute to business development and growth.
