About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Team Lead to join our Water team at Anglian Water Group Ltd.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical direction to electrical engineers and ensuring that design deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to acquire project milestones and design review dates.
  • Review and check electrical design specifications, schedules, datasheets, drawings, and 3D models to ensure adherence to quality, safety, and technical standards.
  • Coach and mentor junior electrical engineers to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Manage quality through the design workflow review process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of engineering outputs.
  • Support other leads and discipline engineers to deliver their engineering outputs to time and quality standards.
  • Drive innovation and improvement in electrical engineering practices and processes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have a degree in electrical engineering or a related field, and preferably be Chartered or working towards Chartered status. You will also have experience of water-sector assets and capital projects, as well as mentoring and coaching junior engineers.

You will be an effective team player, able to interact with stakeholders at all levels and exhibit emotional intelligence, understanding and adapting to the needs of others.
