Key Information:

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, including additional responsibilities

Responsibilities:
- Encourage young individuals to participate in activities and take ownership of their lives based on their age.
- Maintain a warm and welcoming atmosphere within the residential setting.
- Effectively manage challenging behaviors when necessary.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people.
- Support the independence and welfare of the residents.
- Uphold a secure environment for all young individuals.
- Stay informed about each child's care plan and communication preferences.
- Develop and sustain positive relationships with staff, parents, social workers, and other professionals involved in the children's lives.
Key Skills Required:
- Experience in a children's residential setting is desirable.
- Essential experience in a similar challenging role, such as mental health support.
- Full driving license is essential for transporting children to various activities.
- Applicants must be over the age of 21.
