Care Support Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Care Support Specialist to provide high-quality care and support to a 52-year-old gentleman who lives with his family in Whittington, Oswestry. He is a retired furniture retailer who enjoys watching films, especially action movies, and having interesting conversations.
The successful candidate will work with a friendly and supportive team of professionals who will help them develop their skills and knowledge in complex care. They will also have the opportunity to build a trusting and respectful relationship with the gentleman and his family, who are very hands-on and helpful.
The role involves supporting the gentleman with activities in and outside of the home, depending on his condition and preferences. This may include assisting with personal care, medication, PEG feed, oxygen therapy, and other medical equipment.
A Registered Nurse will support competency assessment and ongoing supervision.
Benefits for the Role
Excellent rates of pay: -Weekday- £13.50 per hour; Weekend day- £13.80ph; Wake nights- £14.50ph

Key Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to be kind, caring, and patient. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a flexible and positive attitude. You will need to have good attention to detail and observation skills, and be able to recognise when the gentleman is in pain or needs assistance.
You will also need to work every other weekend as part of your rota.
