Role Overview:
The Goods-In Co-Ordinator will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations related to incoming goods and deliveries. This position requires effective communication and organizational skills to manage various tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with clients regarding delivery queries
- Maintain internal CRM systems and spreadsheets for tracking deliveries and orders
- Collaborate with the warehouse and logistics manager to ensure accurate scheduling for drivers
- Communicate with warehouse personnel and department heads about product availability
- Assist in the picking and packing of online orders as required
- Help prepare goods for dispatch and load vehicles when necessary
- Ensure the Dispatch Centre is organized and secure
- Perform general administrative tasks related to the position
- Proficient in administrative tasks using Outlook, Excel, and CRM/ERP systems
- Capable of organizing tasks and delegating work as needed
- Effective in both team-oriented and independent work environments
- Excellent customer service abilities
- Polite telephone manner for communicating with external parties
- Strong organizational skills with a willingness to be hands-on when required
- Flexibility to work occasional weekend shifts
