Are you an experienced Lead Hydraulic Modelling Engineer seeking to advance your career with a well-established design consultancy?

At Strata Construction Consulting UK Ltd, we pride ourselves on our innovative team of Engineers, Modellers, and Data Analysts dedicated to providing Asset Management and Operational Strategy development for our Water Industry clients, enhancing their business planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and report on commercial performance, including forecasting and risk management.
  • Prepare and present bids and proposals.
  • Lead a team to foster and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with clients.
  • Manage project team members, providing day-to-day leadership, workload planning, and technical direction.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, quality, and environmental standards across all projects.
  • Develop and deliver wastewater catchment strategies and solutions, including hydraulic modelling and analysis, ensuring adherence to time, budget, and quality requirements.
  • Consider feasibility and buildability engineering factors in all project phases.
  • Drive continuous improvement in tools, procedures, and processes to enhance efficiency and innovation.
  • Guarantee the quality of outputs and compliance with industry standards and governance requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge in hydraulic modelling, catchment planning, and related wastewater infrastructure, with a proven track record in delivering complex projects.
  • Proficiency in MS 365 applications, particularly advanced Excel, PowerBI, and SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with GIS Systems such as MapInfo, ArcGIS, or QGIS.
  • Experience with FME, Optimatics, or Python is advantageous.
  • A degree in a relevant technical field is preferred.
  • Chartered status or working towards chartership for Senior or Principal roles is desirable.
  • Membership or progress towards membership in a professional institution such as IET, InstMC, or CIWEM is beneficial.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation and regulations within the water industry.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership in wastewater catchment planning and industry regulations.
  • Ability to manage projects of varying sizes and complexities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capability to coordinate and manage staff at all levels, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Expertise in using InfoWorks ICM and ICM Exchange.
