This can be quite a challenging environment and therefore true team work and trust is imperative. This is a wonderful school with only 10 students, therefore this gives you the ability to make a real positive impact on the children's lives and education journey.

Location: High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire.

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £85-£110 per day Until taken permanent.

The Role:
  • Provide one-on-one support to students with special educational needs
  • Develop and implement individual learning plans tailored to each student's needs
  • Assist in providing each child with their own individualised timetable to meet their ability and needs
  • Monitor and record student progress, identifying areas for improvement
  • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in the student's education
Required Qualifications:
  • No specific qualifications are required as full training will be given
  • Resilient and able to truly understand the reasons children with these needs might present challenging behaviour and how to support them to build trust and reduce these behaviours.
  • Strong understanding of different learning styles and strategies to support students with SEN would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
Experience:
  • Previous experience within a SEN environment with challenging behaviour
  • Experience in developing and implementing individual education plans - Full Training will be provided
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Ability to adapt support methods to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
