Behaviour Mentor

Academics is seeking a Behaviour Mentor to work with a Special Needs student with SEMH needs in a primary school located in High Wycombe.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with SEN students and have experience in SEN teaching or a related field. The Behaviour Mentor will work closely with the Inclusion Manager and will be responsible for providing individualised support to the student.
The role is full-time and long-term, with a focus on developing the student's social, emotional, and mental health skills. The Behaviour Mentor will work with a KS1 student and will be responsible for creating a safe and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualised support to the student with SEMH needs
- Work closely with the Inclusion Manager to develop and implement strategies to support the student's social, emotional, and mental health
- Create a safe and supportive learning environment
- Develop and implement behaviour plans to support the student's needs
Requirements:
- Experience in SEN teaching or a related field
- Passion for working with SEN students
- Ability to work closely with the Inclusion Manager and other school staff
- Ability to create a safe and supportive learning environment
