Key Responsibilities

  • Invoice Processing
    • Post invoices and credit notes, ensuring accurate coding and processing in our system.
    • Verify invoice accuracy and completeness before processing.
  • Supplier Management
    • Communicate with suppliers to resolve invoicing or payment queries.
    • Manage supplier account terms and set up new suppliers.
  • Creditor Ledger Management
    • Own and manage the creditor ledger, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
    • Investigate and resolve outstanding creditor items.
  • Financial Reporting
    • Prepare and process supplier payment runs.
    • Compile month-end accruals as required.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with the purchasing department to ensure smooth order processing.
    • Communicate with internal stakeholders to resolve financial queries.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Working knowledge of general accounting procedures.
    • Experience working in a similar role, preferably in a finance or accounting department.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • IT literacy, including knowledge of accounting software (Sage 50).
