Job Summary
Hutchi is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the creditor ledger, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing
- Post invoices and credit notes, ensuring accurate coding and processing in our system.
- Verify invoice accuracy and completeness before processing.
- Supplier Management
- Communicate with suppliers to resolve invoicing or payment queries.
- Manage supplier account terms and set up new suppliers.
- Creditor Ledger Management
- Own and manage the creditor ledger, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Investigate and resolve outstanding creditor items.
- Financial Reporting
- Prepare and process supplier payment runs.
- Compile month-end accruals as required.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with the purchasing department to ensure smooth order processing.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to resolve financial queries.
Requirements
- Education and Experience
- Working knowledge of general accounting procedures.
- Experience working in a similar role, preferably in a finance or accounting department.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- IT literacy, including knowledge of accounting software (Sage 50).
