Financial Operations Manager

At Ennismore, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the Accounting Operations in the hotel to ensure accurate, timely, and consistent reporting in accordance with policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise the Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cashier, and Night Audit functions, including interviewing, recommending hiring, training, developing, empowering, scheduling, coaching, and counseling staff.
- Analyze and reconcile all general ledger accounts and bank statements to ensure financial information is available and accurate.
- Prepare financial statements and reports to provide timely and accurate information to management.
- Assist in the compilation and preparation of the annual budget, forecasts, taxes, and other financial reports to support management and owners.
- Train, monitor, and coordinate the implementation and maintenance of financial and cash controls and information flow throughout the hotel to ensure compliance, accurate records, and minimize liabilities, losses, and expenses.
- Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned, including Front Office operation and Night Audit, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Food and Beverage Control, Payroll and Personnel, and Bank Reconciliations.
- Capable of training Accounting staff employees and analyzing Balance Sheet Accounts.
- Able to analyze activities or information involving some original data manipulation or interpretation to arrive at logical conclusions.
- Ability to make decisions guided by established policies and procedures.
- A four-year college degree (accounting preferred) or equivalent education/experience.
- Three to four years of full-time employment in a related position with this company or other organization(s).
