Company Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our clients forward-thinking business in the manufacturing sector. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and compliant financial records, ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Record daily financial transactions, including sales and purchases, into our accounting system.
  • Manage accounts receivable by issuing invoices and tracking payments.
  • Oversee accounts payable, ensuring timely payment of bills and expenses.
  • Reconcile bank statements to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist with financial reporting and provide data to external accountants for year-end procedures.
  • Collaborate with external accountants on specific tasks, ensuring all information is accurate and timely for financial reviews and audits.
  • Support the management team by providing insights on financial performance as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
