Job Title: Director of MIS and Data Systems

Eden Brown Education is seeking a highly skilled Director of MIS and Data Systems to lead the strategic development and management of our management information and digital infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the strategic development and management of our MIS (Management Information Systems) and data frameworks.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including ESFA, OfS funding contracts, corporate returns, forecasting, data quality, and audit compliance.
  • Ensure seamless integration of data systems to support decision-making, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of data analytics to drive improvements in student outcomes and institutional performance.
  • Lead a talented team of IT professionals, ensuring effective service delivery and system integrity.
  • Stay ahead of technological trends to future-proof the college's IT infrastructure.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience of Education/Further Education funding and rules, and Individual Learner Record (ILR).
  • Proven leadership experience in MIS or Data Systems, ideally within education.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to analyse complex data and turn insights into actionable plans.
  • Expertise in database management, information governance, and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Experience of managing a budget and departmental resources.
