Job Title: Director of MIS and Data Systems

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Management Information Systems (MIS) and Data Systems function. As the Director of MIS and Data Systems, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the MIS and Data Systems teams, ensuring the effective delivery of business-critical systems and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of MIS and Data Systems strategies, aligned with the College's overall business objectives.
  • Oversee the management of the student record database, reporting suites, and Individual Learner Record (ILR).
  • Provide leadership to the Admissions, Exams, and Computer Services teams, ensuring the effective delivery of services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, academic staff, and external partners.
  • Ensure the provision and development of all aspects of Information Technology (IT) across the College, including hardware, software, networks, and related systems.
Requirements:
  • Education to degree level or relevant industry experience.
  • Significant experience of Further Education funding and rules, and Individual Learner Record (ILR).
  • Experience of complex management information systems and corporate reporting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
