Job Title: Director of MIS and Data Systems

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Director of MIS and Data Systems to join our team at Only FE. As a key member of our corporate services function, you will be responsible for leading the Management Information Systems (MIS) and Data Systems teams.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the provision and development of all aspects of Information Technology (IT) across the College, including hardware, software, networks, and related systems. This will include IT for teaching, learning, and assessment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the MIS and Data Systems teams to deliver high-quality services and support to the College community.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the College's IT infrastructure and services.
  • Manage the College's student record database and provision of reporting suites.
  • Oversee the provision of IT services for teaching, learning, and assessment.
  • Ensure compliance with Further Education funding and rules, and Individual Learner Record (ILR) requirements.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual with a degree-level qualification or relevant industry experience. You will need to have significant experience of Further Education funding and rules, and Individual Learner Record (ILR), as well as experience of leading IT teams and managing IT infrastructure.
