As the Head of MIS and Data Systems, you will be responsible for maintaining the student record database, providing reporting suites, and overseeing the Individual Learner Record (ILR), Admissions, Exams, Reception, and administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Management Information Systems (MIS) function, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of student data and providing timely and relevant reports to stakeholders.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of Business Intelligence solutions to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage the Admissions, Exams, and Computer Services teams, ensuring seamless delivery of services and high-quality support to students and staff.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior management, faculty, and staff, to ensure alignment with college goals and objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with Further Education funding and rules, as well as Individual Learner Record (ILR) requirements, to ensure compliance and optimal use of resources.

Requirements

  • Education to degree level or relevant industry experience.
  • Significant experience of Further Education funding and rules, and Individual Learner Record (ILR).
  • Proven track record of leading and managing complex management information systems and corporate reporting.
  • Effective communication, supervisory, and interpersonal skills to lead and work as part of a team.
