Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Expleo. As a key member of our Design Management Team, you will play a critical role in providing technical support and guidance to our engineering team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance and support to the engineering team, including desktop investigations and field visits to gather information and resolve issues.
  • Monitor and analyze engineering processes to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Develop and publish routine and ad-hoc reports to management, including analysis of performance and commentary.
  • Analyze and interpret functional information, concepts, and ideas to develop solutions to problems.
  • Apply knowledge of engineering principles to implement new processes and procedures.
  • Support the implementation of BIM principles and ensure successful integration of Information Management and BIM areas of the project.
Requirements
  • Background in engineering support or business support, with good numeracy, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • STEM-based qualifications, with a minimum of a degree in a relevant field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant computer applications, including SharePoint and Excel.
  • Ability to follow engineering processes and maintain accurate records.
  • Numerate and computer literate, with good editorial and briefing skills.
  • Ability to understand project, contract, and engineering management principles and their application.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience in engineering, with no discipline bias, and multi-discipline experience.
  • Nuclear experience, or experience in oil and gas, marine, or aerospace.
  • Ability to use Vault and work with design managers.
  • Document management systems, with experience in SharePoint.
