Job Title: Sales Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team at Retrack Personnel Holdings Limited. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate quotations for compressor packages, interpreting application requirements, and dealing with technical and commercial queries.

Key Responsibilities:

* Interpret customer enquiries, including data sheets, project specifications, P&IDs, and terms and conditions
* Select appropriate materials of construction, flow control, sealing systems, lube oil systems, cooling, acoustic attenuation, and instrumentation for new compressors and compressor packages
* Perform calculations to size equipment such as compressors, motors, auxiliary systems, and components
* Write RFQs for suppliers
* Estimate costs and calculate selling prices
* Write proposal documents and supporting documents for bids
* Maintain accurate records of opportunities and bids

Requirements:

* Customer-focused, solutions-oriented, and strive for excellence
* Highly numerate, with higher education or training in engineering, mathematics, technology, or physical science
* Knowledge and understanding of rotating machinery, such as pumps, compressors, and mechanical seals, and of fluid handling equipment, such as piping, valves, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and measuring instruments
* Experience in the Engineering sector
* Commercially aware, with knowledge of sales and marketing techniques
* Exceptional communication and organizational skills
* Confident in the use of Microsoft applications, especially Excel and Project

Salary: £40,000 per annum
