Clinical Lead/Psychologist

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Lead/Psychologist to join our team at North Thames Genomics Laboratory Hub. The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership to our team of psychologists and work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality psychologically informed support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide Clinical Leadership: Provide clinical leadership to our team of psychologists and work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality psychologically informed support to our clients.
- Supervise and Support: Supervise and support the psychological assessment and therapy provided by more junior psychologists and other clinical members of the team.
- Direct Clinical Services: Provide direct clinical psychology services to children and young people with complex eating disorders or eating-related difficulties and their carers, utilizing evidence-based interventions focused on individuals, families, and wider systems.
- Liaise and Collaborate: Liaise and work with other professionals as appropriate, alongside the promotion and development in the service of a psychological perspective and the use of psychological approaches and for the care coordination of children and young people.
- Qualifications: Doctoral Clinical Psychology qualification or equivalent as accredited by the British Psychology Society (BPS).
- Registration: Registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Training and Experience: Training in neuropsychological and developmental assessment, relevant post-qualification training in work with eating disorders, and relevant post-qualification training/experience in working with young people.
- Experience: Experience of working with clients with complex presentations within CAMHS or similar services, experience of teaching, training, and/or professional and clinical supervision, and experience of working within CAMHS environment.
