About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Assistant Psychologist to join our dynamic team at Turning Point. As an Assistant Psychologist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality evidence-based psycho-social interventions to clients within our Mental Health Treatment and Rehabilitation (MHTR) team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work under the supervision of the Clinical Lead to assess clients within a court setting, liaise with partner agencies, and deliver psycho-social treatment to clients.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of the service, complete post-treatment reports, and assist in clinically related administration.
  • Administer questionnaires or standardized psychometric tests, conduct audits, collect data and statistics, and contribute to research projects, teaching, and project work.

Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with a minimum of a 2:1 degree in psychology and BPS Graduate Membership. You will have previous experience of working in a health or social care setting, good verbal and written communication skills, and an understanding of the needs and difficulties of people with mental health and substance misuse problems.
