Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Lead

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to lead our Children's Eating Disorder Service (CEDS) in Somerset. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled professional to contribute to clinical and system change in the South West.
About the RoleAs a Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Lead, you will provide clinical leadership to other psychologists and the wider multi-disciplinary team. You will be responsible for providing high-quality psychologically informed support to young people and their families, working closely with CAMHS and partner agencies across the South West.
Key Responsibilities- Provide highly specialist psychological assessments and interventions for clients with complex eating disorders and eating-related difficulties.
- Develop and implement plans for the formal psychological treatment and/or management of clients' mental health and eating issues.
- Provide specialist psychological advice, guidance, and consultation to other professionals contributing to clients' formulation, diagnosis, and treatment plans.
- Ensure that all members of the treating team have access to a specialist psychologically based framework for understanding and care of service users.
- Liaise with appropriate professionals and contribute to multi-disciplinary case discussions/planning meetings.

Requirements- Doctoral Clinical Psychology qualification or equivalent as accredited by the British Psychology Society (BPS).
- Eligible for Chartered Clinical Psychologist status.
- Registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience of working with clients with complex presentations within CAMHS or similar services.
- Experience of teaching, training, and/or professional and clinical supervision.
