Role Overview:
As a Senior C&I Specialist, you will leverage your technical expertise throughout the entire lifecycle of Control and Instrumentation systems for our innovative nuclear power facilities. Your responsibilities will encompass:
  • Collaborating with Process Engineers to translate high-level requirements into detailed specifications for C&I systems.
  • Engaging with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the functional performance of components and systems.
  • Evaluating and validating design specifications to ensure they meet established requirements.
  • Ensuring adherence to international standards, particularly IEC 61513, IEC 61226, and IEC 61508.
  • Developing Validation Plans and defining testing protocols to confirm that C&I system requirements are met.
  • Supporting the formulation and execution of policies and procedures related to the lifecycle of C&I systems.
  • Providing optimal solutions for our nuclear power plants by assisting in procurement, operations, and maintenance of equipment.
  • Contributing to safety case documentation and liaising with regulatory bodies and independent safety assessors.

Candidate Profile:
We are seeking candidates with a robust background in C&I system design and a passion for innovation. Key qualifications include:
  • Extensive experience in the systematic design lifecycle of C&I systems, including specification, design, assessment, verification, testing, installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards relevant to safety-critical systems.
  • Proficiency in applying advanced systems engineering methodologies, including Model-Based Systems Engineering.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership in overseeing technical work within the C&I discipline.

Educational Requirements:
Candidates should possess a degree in electrical engineering, electronics, instrumentation, control systems, mechatronics, physics, or computer science. Equivalent experience may also be considered.
