The young individuals you will be assisting range from 8 to 18 years old and may exhibit emotional and behavioral challenges. Therefore, we require a compassionate and resilient individual who can address their needs while also creating a fun and enjoyable atmosphere.

Role Responsibilities
In this role, you will be an integral part of a team responsible for fostering a safe and nurturing environment for young people in care. Your duties will include:
- Providing care for children as part of a corporate parenting role, which includes supporting their educational attendance, adhering to routines, and establishing healthy boundaries while collaborating with professionals such as social workers and families.
- Participating in shift work, including night hours with alternating weekends off.
- Serving as a positive role model for the young people, while adhering to Buckinghamshire Council's policies and procedures.
- Attending and supporting young people during professional meetings.
- Assisting young individuals in developing and maintaining independent living skills.
- Documenting and reporting any changes or concerns regarding the well-being of individuals.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional care for children and young people.
- Ideally, candidates should possess a Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential Care or an equivalent qualification.
- The ability to manage challenging behaviors is essential, and we will provide ongoing training to support you.
- Candidates should demonstrate initiative and proactively assist young people in a challenging environment.
- An open-minded and forward-thinking approach to healthy change and parenting styles is important.
- Flexibility and a willingness to engage in various tasks, as each day presents new challenges.
