About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Services Administrator to join our team at a leading Independent Financial Advice firm in Durham. As a key member of our back office support team, you will play a vital role in providing administrative support to our financial advisers and dealing with clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to financial advisers, including data entry, document preparation, and filing.
  • Deal with clients, responding to queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial plans and reports, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Support the development of new business opportunities, including researching and gathering information on potential clients and projects.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records, including client files and financial data.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a financial services administration role, preferably with a background in Independent Financial Advice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in the use of Intelligent Office (IO) software and other administrative tools.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
