We are excited to announce an opportunity to join our outpatient therapy services in a newly established position at The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust. We seek a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to become part of our Consultant General Team.
Your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional physiotherapy evaluations and interventions for outpatients experiencing spinal and upper limb peripheral conditions, including intricate orthopedic, musculoskeletal, and rheumatological issues, ensuring a diverse skill set and experience.
Key Qualifications:
- Current HCPC registration
- Ability to travel independently and possess access to a suitable vehicle for professional use
- Experience in mentoring and guiding staff and students
- Valid work authorization or eligibility to work in the UK
- Familiarity with electronic patient record systems is advantageous

Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist
Main Responsibilities:
You will oversee patient management in one-on-one settings, either independently or with the assistance of a support worker to whom you have delegated care.
Additionally, you will participate in the organization and execution of general and specialized exercise and rehabilitation classes. A component of this role includes providing hydrotherapy for Orthopaedic/MSK/Rheumatology patients.
It is essential to possess a comprehensive range of postgraduate experience and personal development, particularly in musculoskeletal and orthopedic specialties, and to be committed to delivering patient-centered care of the highest quality.

Alongside your personal growth, a significant aspect of this role will involve offering guidance, support, and training to fellow members of the Therapy Services Team, including Physiotherapists, Therapy Support staff, and local Physiotherapy Students.

Essential Qualifications:
- Degree in Physiotherapy
- Current HCPC Registration
- Postgraduate experience in managing acute and chronic upper limb, hip, and spinal injuries/pathologies
- Postgraduate experience in post-operative care for upper limb, hip, and spinal conditions
- Evidence of postgraduate qualifications relevant to neuromusculoskeletal or orthopedic physiotherapy
- Ability to travel independently across the region and access a suitable vehicle for work purposes
Desirable Qualifications:
- Membership in a professional body, such as the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
- Evidence of postgraduate qualifications or experience in hydrotherapy
- Completion of recognized IT courses

- Clinical expertise and knowledge at the postgraduate diploma level
