About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Support Worker to join our team at PK Education. As an Inclusion Support Worker, you will be working with vulnerable children who attend a pupil referral unit setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support children with severe emotional dysregulation and challenging behavior
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create individualized support plans
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
Requirements
  • Level 2 teaching assistant or above
  • Diploma in Youth Work or equivalent
  • Degree in Education or Psychology
  • Experience working with children with social difficulties, emotional dysregulation, and challenging behavior
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Current DBS subscription or willingness to obtain one
