About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Tesco Pharmacies. As a Duty Pharmacy Manager, you will play a key role in leading and managing our pharmacy team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of pharmacists and support staff to ensure the smooth operation of the pharmacy.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and services, including the delivery of NHS and private services.
  • Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager to lead, train, and develop colleagues, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent patient care.
  • Build relationships with Primary Care Networks and GPs' surgeries to promote our services and improve patient outcomes.
  • Ensure accurate payment claims for NHS-covered items and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Pharmacy degree and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and willing to undergo a DBS check.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
