About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ward Manager to lead our nursing team in the newly opened transfer/discharge lounge at the Grange University Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe transition of patients from hospital to home or other specified destinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the nursing team to deliver high standards of care and compassion to patients
  • Develop and implement effective leadership skills to enhance patient outcomes and contribute to organisational priorities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient flow and discharge processes
  • Provide exceptional communication skills to patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures
