An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the Cardiac Catheter Lab / Cardiac Day Unit in the new Grange University Hospital. Cardiology is fortunate in having a dedicated Cardiac Catheter Suite.
Main Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to patients undergoing Coronary Angiograms, PCI, Pacemakers (including defibrillators and heart failure devices), TOE and DSE.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the Nursing Process under the delegation of the Team Leader and without direct supervision.
- Contribute to the clinical nursing care of all patients within the unit as required.
- Implement care that is evidence-based in practice.
- Participate in clinical audit and clinical research activity.
- Maintain and assist data collection records in the unit.
- Adhere to the clinical risk management policies of the Unit.
