About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse to join our team on A0. This is a 12-month secondment opportunity that will allow you to develop your clinical and managerial skills in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
Main Responsibilities
As a Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for supporting the ward sister in managing the ward, demonstrating excellent communication, decision-making, and motivational skills, and providing patient-centered care. You will also be expected to demonstrate continuing professional development and have an understanding of how to improve and provide safe, quality care for patients and their relatives.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse General with evidence of professional development
- Sufficient post-registration and E-grade experience, with evidence of successful management change
- A high level of written and verbal skills, and clinical skills
